Consecutive Interpreting

Consecutive interpreters provide slightly delayed interpreting of the spoken word. They sometimes take notes during speech in order to later reproduce what was said in the target language. We differentiate between unilateral and bilateral consecutive interpreting.
‘Unilateral’ means only in one direction and usually refers to the interpreting of longer passages of speech, such as lectures or speeches. ‘Bilateral’ means in both directions and is also referred to as liaison interpreting. As the name suggests, this form of consecutive interpreting usually occurs at interviews, negotiations, appointments at the notary public, etc.
Multilingua International works with professional and experienced consecutive interpreters, who have specialized in the widest variety of fields. Are you planning a presentation at your company and require interpreting services for your foreign visitors?
